How fast do I receive my inspection reports?
Reports are emailed to you within 24 hours. In most cases, you will receive the reports the same day as the inspection.
What are the limitations to a home inspection?
Home inspections are a visual only inspection. There may be hidden issues that are inside the walls, under the foundation, behind personal items/furniture, or in areas that are not accessible. To reduce this, we use thermal imagining, access every area of the home possible, fly drones, and use other tools and equipment that help see where the inspector can't fit.
Is an air quality or mold inspection worth it?
Due to the high moisture levels in Florida, mold and moisture are found inside and out of almost every home. Not all mold is dangerous or can cause health concerns, but an air quality/mold test can give you peace of mind on what is inside the home vs outside. The tests are sent to a 3rd party lab that supplies a separate report of over 20 different spores, including Aspergillus/Penicillium, Chaetomium, & Stachybotrys.
Is there flexible scheduling?
Yes, we do offer flexible scheduling. Available for nights and weekends for short turnaround times and condensed contracts.
How long do inspections take?
Due to the amount of checks that occur during an inspection:
Home or condo inspections: 2.5 - 3 hours. Homes over 3500 sq ft require more time.
4 -Point Inspections: 1 - 1.5 Hours
Wind Mitigation: 1 - 1.5 Hours
Pool/Spa Inspection: 1 Hour
Air Quality/Mold: 1 - 1.5 Hour
**When combing services, times may be reduced due to overlapping checks.
